Finance Project Manager

Job Summary
Venn Group is partnering with a leading organization to recruit an experienced Finance Project Manager to lead a critical project aimed at updating and modernizing the finance system and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Initiation: Develop comprehensive project plans, conduct feasibility studies, and define roles and responsibilities to ensure successful project execution.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with various departments, facilitate regular meetings, and manage expectations to ensure alignment and buy-in.
- Resource Management: Lead a project team, allocate resources, and monitor performance to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Project Execution: Oversee the design, development, testing, and implementation of the new finance system, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Quality Assurance: Implement testing procedures and conduct user acceptance testing to ensure the new system meets business requirements and is free from defects.
- Budget & Cost Management: Manage the project budget and track costs to ensure financial transparency and accountability.
- Risk Management: Monitor risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues and ensure project success.
- Project Closure: Ensure all deliverables are completed and conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate project success and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- PMI, PRINCE2 Foundation, or other relevant project management certification preferred.
- Minimum of two years' experience managing finance projects, with a strong understanding of finance systems and processes.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively, with experience in data migration, system integration, and user training.
