Key Responsibilities:
As a Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) Operations Specialist, you will be an integral member of a dynamic team that is a vital part of a large and global fixed income operation. Your role will involve supporting the Fixed Income CLO sector.
What You Can Anticipate:
- Acting as the primary on-site business management liaison for activities related to each CLO supported by the CLO Business Management Team.
- Overseeing and managing all data attributes within the compliance application to ensure optimal support for CLO Analysts and Portfolio Managers.
- Reconciling holdings and over 50 data attributes between the internal compliance application and Trustee(s) data for respective deals on a monthly basis.
- Executing daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to guarantee data accuracy and maintenance.
- Calculating and verifying quarterly distribution payments made to Dryden CLO investors.
- Conducting Hypothetical Trade tests; managing the process with the internal Product Support team and Trustees on a daily basis.
- Reconciling and investigating cash discrepancies with trustees and internal operational teams.
- Facilitating fund launches by managing processes from Pricing to Closing date, including the approval of Flow of Funds.
- Testing and validating new compliance models as per the CLO Indenture; providing feedback to vendors as necessary.
- Establishing appropriate controls and creating efficiencies to mitigate risks and enhance processes.
- Collaborating with internal teams (Operations, Analysts, Portfolio Managers, Technology) and external parties (Trustees and Investors) to ensure service levels are met.
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of the Fixed Income trading business to enhance service levels.
• A degree in Economics, Finance, or Business is preferred.
• Experience with CLOs and/or Bank Loans is advantageous.
• Demonstrated outstanding academic performance, extracurricular involvement, and relevant work experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Self-starter with motivation and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and share knowledge with others.
What Will Distinguish You:
- Proficient in Excel; knowledge of VBA is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Fixed Income products, investment strategies, and derivatives is preferred.
