Environmental Sustainability Specialist

EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. As an Environmental Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the environment managers to deliver the HS2 contract requirements relating to environmental management. You will work closely with the supply chain to ensure compliance with HS2 contractual requirements and identify opportunities for implementing best practice and innovation to achieve cost and programme efficiencies and risk mitigation.
About You- Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline, working towards IEMA practitioner level (or similar).
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, self-motivated and proactive.
- Confident and eager to learn. Good communicator.
- Ability to work within a team and be flexible.
- Accuracy of work and attention to detail.
