Job Summary:

Orion Electrotech Ltd is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and maintenance services to clients on-site and remotely.
  • Diagnose and repair complex technical issues related to hydraulic systems, electrical circuits, and electronic control systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance procedures and repairs according to customer needs and standard maintenance schedules.
  • Work with clients to identify and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • An engineering qualification, ideally mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent QBE.
  • Experience in an engineering technical support role.
  • Physically fit and able to lift 40kg unassisted.
  • Extensive experience in fault diagnosis on hydraulic systems and electrical circuits.
  • Previous experience of working as a field technical engineer on-site.
  • Experience with working on Can Bus control systems would be an advantage.
  • Experience with working on hydraulic variable displacement pumps and logic control valves.
