Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Driver/Operative to join our team at Skillframe Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for loading and unloading deliveries, making timely deliveries to our clients, and assisting with general labouring tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading deliveries, including pallets and a-frames, from curtain side trucks and containers.
  • Operating a forklift and mobile crane (training provided) to control the flow of products to our factory and yard.
  • Controlling the flow of waste into the yard and managing consumables stored in the yard.
  • Assisting with general labouring tasks, including keeping work areas clean and tidy.

Requirements:

  • Health and Safety Awareness and ability to enforce a safe working environment at all times.
  • Clean driving license and ability to drive Transit van-sized vehicles and flatbed trucks.
  • Manual handling skills.
  • Basic IT skills for email and stock control to assist the Yard Manager.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A positive and proactive attitude.
