About Lakeland Dairies

Lakeland Dairies is a leading dairy processor with a complex and ambitious business model. We operate a milk supply pool of 2 billion litres of milk, sourced from over 3,200 family farms across 16 counties.

Our business supplies to a broad customer base, including some of the world's foremost 'blue chip' companies, across the dairy food ingredients, foodservice, and consumer food channels. We export over 240 different products to more than 100 countries worldwide.

Our Trade Marketing Team

We are seeking a skilled Trade Marketing Specialist to join our team in our Bromley office. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing trade marketing and activation plans for our UK Foodservice business line.

The Role

The Trade Marketing Specialist will work closely with our Foodservice & Consumer Foods Division to grow both national and independent business. The role requires proactive leadership and collaborative development of brand plans, aligning activities with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement trade marketing and activation plans for our UK Foodservice business line
  • Work closely with the Foodservice & Consumer Foods Division to grow national and independent business
  • Lead the development of brand plans, aligning activities with our strategic objectives
  • Manage and deliver multiple projects within deadlines and to budget

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

Relevant experience in a marketing role in a UK Foodservice landscapeA strong understanding of the industry, including channel strategy and knowledge of on-trade groups and national accountsPrevious experience in a trade marketing or activation role, involving the creation and implementation of annual plans delivering ROI for businessExperience of managing people and inspiring team membersA degree-level education in Marketing, Communications, or Business
