Job Description:

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced recovery worker to join our team at Belmont Recruitment. As an opiate recovery worker, you will be responsible for carrying out assessments and creating support plans to help service users overcome their addiction.

You will work closely with GPs, partner organizations, and other healthcare professionals to deliver a shared care service, providing specialist interventions and support to individuals struggling with opiate addiction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out assessments and create support plans to help service users overcome their addiction
  • Work with GPs, partner organizations, and other healthcare professionals to deliver a shared care service
  • Provide specialist interventions, including prescribing of opiate substitution therapy and access to detoxification
  • Deliver one-to-one and group work, as well as outreach services, including the supply of naloxone and needle and syringe provision
Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Experience working with individuals struggling with opiate addiction
  • Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals
