Job Summary

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join their client's team in Taunton, Somerset. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR and be able to provide strategic support to the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all personnel comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist the Compliance Manager in maintaining the Office Manual specific to Human Resources.
  • Undertake all aspects of Human Resources, including maintaining personnel records and managing personnel tasks across the firm.
  • Manage HR admin, including ensuring contract, new starter details, and right to work are completed, updated, and filed correctly, complying with GDPR.
  • Update policies and procedures when necessary.
  • Manage diversity and equality values within the company.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships to encourage retention.
  • Manage maternity and paternity leave, including risk assessments.
  • Assess the need for training, implement training programs, and support employee development.
  • Manage the company's appraisal system and conduct appraisal meetings.
  • Monitor employee performance, including attendance, probations, sickness, and holidays.
  • Handle disciplinary and formal grievances.
  • Work with the IT Manager on new starters, DSE, new platforms, etc.
  • Oversee recruitment, selection, marketing, onboarding, probation, and retention.
  • Identify staff needs and manage the creation of job descriptions.
  • Use a variety of software, including the case management system and Office 365 suite, to produce correspondence, documents, presentations, records, and accounts.
  • Provide advice and direction to all employees when needed.
