We are seeking a dedicated Senior Adult Nursing Manager to become part of a reputable and innovative provider of intricate care solutions within the community, focusing on adult complex care.
This role operates within a community setting (9am-5pm) and is situated in a region where the organization is experiencing significant growth and expansion.
The successful candidate will be tasked with delivering direct support to adult clients and their families, while also developing individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
You will collaborate closely with a core team of caregivers, providing training and guidance to enhance their clinical competencies and responsibilities.
Requirements for a Senior Adult Nursing Manager:
Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN
A nurturing management approach that encourages the best performance in others
Recent experience with tracheostomy care and ventilators within the last two years
Desirable – experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Intensive Treatment Unit (ITU) / Coronary Care Unit (CCU)
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team (MDT)
Suitable for Band 5 / Band 6 Nurses with proven leadership and management experience of Healthcare Assistants (HCAs)
A full UK Driving Licence is advantageous but not mandatory
Key Responsibilities for a Senior Adult Nursing Manager:
Design and implement a customized care plan that meets the specific needs of each client
Effectively coordinate the MDT through strong communication and collaborative teamwork
Provide continuous monitoring, support, and assessment of clients' physical and psychological needs within your caseload
Administer nursing interventions, including the management of medication delivery
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients' families
Work closely with community teams, Continuing Healthcare (CHC) nurses, and Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) commissioners to create and sustain tailored care packages
