We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our East Child Health Psychology team at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide specialist psychological assessment, therapeutic intervention, and consultation to children, young people, and their families with a range of health conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and therapeutic intervention across child health psychology.
- Work closely with consultant paediatricians, specialist nurses, and other medical MDT colleagues.
- Contribute to the development of local team policies and procedures to improve service quality.
- Provide clinical placements and supervision for Doctoral level trainee clinical psychologists.
- Deliver training to other professionals and utilise highly specialised research skills for audit, policy, and service development.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly valued team and contribute to the development of innovative practice and service delivery. You will be part of a larger Child Health Psychology service, with additional teams based in Central and West areas of BCUHB.
