Job Summary:

Cheshire West and Chester Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registration Team Leader/Superintendent Registrar to lead the delivery of statutory and non-statutory registration services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of registration services, including the coordination of ceremonies and the licensing of approved venues.

About the Role:

The Registration Team Leader/Superintendent Registrar will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of registration officers to deliver registration services, including the coordination of ceremonies and the licensing of approved venues.
  • Ensuring the delivery of registration services meets the required standards and quality expectations.
  • Managing the operational aspects of the registration service, including budgeting, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the registration service.
  • Collaborating with other teams and departments to ensure the registration service is aligned with the council's overall objectives and priorities.
