Key ResponsibilitiesIn this dynamic role, you will collaborate with a newly established organization dedicated to serving the North West and North Wales regions. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting children, families, and caregivers in their homes and communities, particularly during challenging times.
- Supporting daily routines and offering mentoring to help families navigate obstacles.
- Engaging in various support roles, from hospital visits to supervised contacts, and aiding young individuals in building confidence.
This position offers a variety of support roles at times and locations that suit your schedule. Whether you seek to enhance your income or gain experience while working, this role is designed to accommodate your needs.
Candidate ProfileWe are looking for resilient, passionate individuals who are adaptable and thrive in team environments. Key qualities include:
- Kindness and compassion, coupled with the ability to challenge when necessary.
- Experience in caring for children or young people is essential.
Don't worry if you feel you lack experience; our friendly team will provide support throughout your journey, including shadow shifts for your first day.
Travel RequirementsThis role involves community-based work, necessitating travel to meet with children, young people, and their caregivers. A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are advantageous, as we reimburse travel expenses incurred during shifts.
Compliance and TrainingDue to the sensitive nature of this role, candidates must undergo an Enhanced Check with the Disclosure and Barring Service. We cover the costs of your on-the-job training.
Working HoursAvailable shifts include:
- 10-hour shifts
- 12-hour shifts
- Night shifts
- Weekend availability
We provide dedicated consultants with up-to-date market knowledge, operate nationwide across public and private sectors, and cover all compliance costs, including DBS and Social Work registration. Additionally, we offer:
