Catastrophic Injury Solicitor (Associate or Senior Associate) - Bydand Recruitment Group

This position provides the chance to collaborate closely with a Partner, offering legal counsel to significant clients on high-stakes injury claims primarily related to Employers' Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL), along with some Road Traffic Accident (RTA) cases.

Position Overview

  • Job Title: Associate or Senior Associate
  • Location: Nationwide
  • Salary: up to £66,000
  • Work Arrangement: hybrid model
  • Reports to: Partner
  • Expertise Required: Candidates should possess experience in managing high-value personal injury claims, whether from a claimant or defendant perspective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct witness interviews, draft legal statements, and prepare court documents including pleadings and applications.
  • Engage counsel and participate in conferences, Joint Settlement Meetings (JSMs), and mediation sessions.
  • Oversee a diverse caseload of intricate injury cases, encompassing brain injuries, spinal injuries, amputations, and fatal claims.
  • Assist in formulating technical advice covering analysis on reserves, indemnity, liability, quantum, and causation issues.
  • Attend court proceedings in person or via telephone as necessary.
  • Delegate responsibilities to Paralegals and support their professional development.
