Job Title: Gas & Power Operations Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Gas & Power Operations Analyst to join our team in London. As a key member of our Energy Trading Physical Commodities Operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day trade management across Gas and Power trading activities and risk management.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Gas and Power Commodities Operations, with experience in trade bookings, trade capture, trade enrichment (reconciliations / settlements) and trade life cycle management (physical trade allocations, logistics – balancing, scheduling and nominations).

Our business covers Physical and Financial Energy Commodity Derivative Operations products lines, and we are looking for a candidate who can work in a high volume business environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong attitude of continuous improvement and excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the day-to-day trade management across Gas and Power trading activities and risk management
  • Trade bookings, trade capture, trade enrichment (reconciliations / settlements) and trade life cycle management (physical trade allocations, logistics – balancing, scheduling and nominations)
  • Work in a high volume business environment
  • Continuous improvement and process optimization

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Gas and Power Commodities Operations
  • Strong background in trade bookings, trade capture, trade enrichment (reconciliations / settlements) and trade life cycle management (physical trade allocations, logistics – balancing, scheduling and nominations)
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong attitude of continuous improvement
