About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fibre Quality Specialist to join our team at CityFibre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our fibre network installations, ensuring they meet our high standards and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct field performance quality and accreditation checks across direct labour and suppliers to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.
  • Support and encourage positive safety practices among installation engineers.
  • Complete audits across various installation types, including PIA, to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Drive a right-first-time culture, delivering coaching and support to achieve successful customer connections.
  • Supervise installation engineers to ensure safety, quality, and processes are followed in line with CityFibre requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience of auditing safe systems of works and quality checks.
  • Extensive knowledge of fibre, including network build, FTTx installation, fibre blowing, and fibre splicing.
  • Experience of OTDR / IOLM testing and knowledge of PIA – duct and/or pole installations.
  • NRSWA – units 2 and 10.
  • SA001 and SA002 Smart Awards.
