We are seeking an experienced Operations Team Leader to join our team at Smiths News. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our departments and warehouses.

Your primary responsibility will be to plan and resource the warehouse operation, ensuring pack accuracy and efficient management of products. We are looking for an experienced professional with a track record in warehouse management or people management in other sectors. You will have:

  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a 24/7 logistics, warehouse, FMCG, or similar industry background
  • Experience managing a large operation and the ability to liaise at all levels
  • Outstanding communication skills and the credibility to effectively build relationships with all team members and management
  • Experience of planning and effectively executing a warehouse operation, dealing with all issues and challenges as they arise
