Position Overview

Competitive Salary: £30,800 OTE (including £26,000 basic plus bonus)

Lookers is seeking a skilled and passionate Customer Service Specialist to enhance our Aftersales Team. This team comprises Service Advisors, Vehicle Technicians, Apprentices, and our dedicated Service Manager.

In this role, you will gain access to ongoing training opportunities through our in-house brand development programs, while also learning from experienced leaders within the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for career advancement within Lookers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling MOTs, services, and various repair tasks for our clientele
  • Providing guidance to customers regarding warranty coverage and promoting additional parts/accessories that enhance their experience
  • Collaborating with the entire Aftersales department to effectively manage and schedule appointments based on current workload and customer inquiries
  • Handling a high volume of customer interactions daily, including phone calls and online booking requests
  • Communicating turnaround times to customers and ensuring consistent updates throughout the service process
  • Maintaining precise customer records and updating systems with booking information

Required Qualifications

As a Customer Service Specialist at our busy dealership, you should possess a vibrant personality, a strong desire to deliver exceptional customer service, and the ability to communicate effectively. You will excel in building rapport with customers while conveying technical information in a straightforward manner. Familiarity with Kerridge / ADP systems is advantageous, along with knowledge of essential dealership software.
You should be a collaborative team member who can also work independently and take initiative. We welcome applicants with experience in similar roles within the automotive sector who share our passion for customer service and automobiles.
