Job Title: Chief People Officer

City St George's, University of London is seeking a visionary leader to join its Senior Leadership Team as Chief People Officer. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of the organization by developing and implementing a comprehensive people management strategy that drives employee engagement, well-being, and retention.

About the Role

The Chief People Officer will be responsible for leading a directorate of over 60 colleagues, encompassing strategic leadership around culture, employee engagement, and staff development. This role requires a deep understanding of contemporary people-oriented leadership and the ability to articulate a clear vision for a world-class people function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a people management strategy that aligns with the University's overall goals and objectives
  • Lead the development and delivery of employee engagement and well-being initiatives
  • Provide strategic leadership on culture and organizational development
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to drive business outcomes through people
  • Manage a directorate of over 60 colleagues, including HR business partners and organizational development specialists
Requirements
