About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Manager to join our team at Kyndryl. As a key member of our Cloud Migration and Modernization team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful upgrade and migration of critical business systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test strategies to address client requirements and reduce risk
  • Work with project managers, architects, and application support teams to drive risk assessment and define test approaches
  • Manage the creation of test designs, test plans, and test reports
  • Facilitate workshops to articulate scope and identify risk areas
  • Apply test methods and techniques, including risk-based testing
  • Educate and mentor teams in applying test techniques
  • Capture lessons learned from projects to update methodologies and assets
Requirements
  • At least 4-5 years of experience as a Test Manager, with a focus on application modernization, migration, and upgrade projects
  • Good understanding of application architectures and business process flows
  • Applied test strategies, risk-based testing techniques, and test life cycles
  • Ability to interpret requirements and create approaches
  • Facilitate workshops and evaluate risk and merit to make recommendations
  • Client-facing ability to understand and provide guidance on test approaches
Preferred Qualifications
  • General knowledge of compute platforms and storage technologies
  • Understanding of network technologies
  • Experience with cloud technologies
  • Recognized test certification, such as ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing
