Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Environmental. As a Risk Assessor, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our water hygiene compliance contracts.

About the Role:

  • Undertake legionella risk assessments, risk assessment reviews, and surveys on a wide variety of water systems, requiring a good understanding of both commercial and domestic water systems.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all risk assessment reports and their satisfactory completion and quality checking, prior to issue.
  • Assist with the technical development of risk assessment documents.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed and recorded, and are complete and accurate.
  • Provide full support to the Service Manager, as and when required.
  • Perform other reasonable tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out risk assessments, reviews, and surveys in line with company procedures and method statements.
  • Ensure all survey forms and work records are complete and accurate.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the HSE's ACoP L8, HSG274, and HTM-04-01.
  • Hold an excellent understanding of Water Regulations and hold an appropriate certificate.
  • Maintain a full driving license.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of risk assessing experience.
  • City and Guilds Qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and positively as a team member.
  • Computer literacy, with the ability to effectively use the Microsoft Office package and bespoke software/databases.
