About the RoleGyle Shopping Centre is a premier retail destination in Edinburgh, offering a unique blend of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. As a Security & Customer Service Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Monitor and maintain the security of the Centre, including CCTV systems, alarms, and access control.
- Assist customers and staff with queries and concerns, providing information and support as needed.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents, including first aid, fire alarms, and security breaches.
- Collaborate with retailers and Centre management to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Conduct regular patrols of the Centre, identifying and addressing potential security risks.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including incident logs and security checks.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic first aid and security training.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role or security environment.
