POSITION: SUPPORT WORKER

Our clients are wonderful individuals in the Kingston region who require assistance following various life challenges, including medical conditions or developmental issues. They seek support in daily activities such as organization, meal preparation, transportation, emotional guidance, and more. Each client has unique interests, ranging from hobbies like mechanics and word games to enjoying engaging conversations and spending time with pets.

WORKING HOURS:
Flexible scheduling options available.

COMPENSATION:
Starting at $23/hour.

Qualifications:

  • A cover letter detailing your suitability for Spark Lifecare.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Standard level C certification.
  • Access to a smartphone with a data plan.
  • A recent Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 12 months).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Educational background in a relevant field (University or College).
  • A valid 'G' class Driver's License and access to a vehicle.

In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in the community who require direct assistance with personal care, meal preparation, organization, and light housekeeping. Care plans are tailored to meet the specific needs of each client, ensuring that support is personalized and effective.
