About the Role

Achieving for Children is a community-based organization dedicated to providing specialized transportation services for children and young people with special educational needs. As a Passenger Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our passengers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe embarkation and disembarkation of passengers
  • Assist the driver in operating safety and adaptive equipment, ensuring passengers are seated and secured in accordance with manufacturer's instructions
  • Inform relevant parties of any changes to route or child absences
  • Complete daily registers and relevant paperwork, handing them over to the driver at the end of the working day

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a flexible approach, ensuring the needs and safety of our passengers are met at all times. You will also need to have a good knowledge and understanding of health and safety protocols and the code of conduct.
