Job Title: Special Needs Education Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Education Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Special Needs Education Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with profound multiple learning difficulties in a SEND school in Kingston upon Thames.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students during lesson time and social time, helping them with their schoolwork and achieving individual goals.
  • Assist with lifeskills lessons and provide emotional support to students.
  • Manage challenging behaviors and have patience to understand and support students.
  • Have experience working with SEND students and basic knowledge of de-escalation and MAPA (Management of Actual & Potential Aggression).
  • Hold a safeguarding qualification or be willing to complete a course provided by our company.
  • Have an Enhanced DBS on Update Service or be willing to apply for one through us.
