Front of House Team Member Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our team at German Doner Kebab. As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and valued.
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently, using our POS system to ensure seamless service.
  • Deliver orders to the kitchen and assist in preparing and packing food and beverages.
  • Ensure that all guest areas are clean, sanitary, and tidy, maintaining a high level of presentation and quality.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure that orders are fulfilled promptly and to the highest standard.
  • Assist with up-selling and promoting additional food items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
  • Process sales, provide guests with receipts, and deliver food in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Answer the telephone and deal with guest enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assemble and package orders to the brand standard, ensuring that every guest receives their order in a neat and tidy manner.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and smart appearance, adhering to our brand standards.
  • Positive and enthusiastic approach to all tasks, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business volume levels, with a sense of urgency and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Knowledge of the menu and allergens, with the ability to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Ability to follow instructions and achieve brand standards, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and complete daily paperwork in line with our standards.
