Job Title: Senior Operations Analyst, Liquid Credit

Hayfin Capital Management is a leading alternative asset management firm with a strong presence in the global market. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Analyst to join our Liquid Credit Team.

Job Summary:

The Senior Operations Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Liquid Credit Team in delivering operational excellence across various business units. This role will involve working closely with the team to ensure seamless execution of daily operations, including liquidity management, settlements, and corporate actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Team Leader in strategic planning and team management.
  • Provide guidance and training to the wider team on operational aspects.
  • Compile daily cash ladders and reports for the Treasury Team.
  • Ensure timely and accurate settlement of all asset classes.
  • Manage corporate actions and credit events affecting portfolio investments.
  • Oversee fund asset servicing, including administration, reporting, and compliance.
  • Handle payment processing and approvals.
  • Perform daily cash and position reconciliations.
  • Respond to internal and external stakeholders' queries and requests.
  • Manage relationships with 3rd-party vendors and oversee their performance.
  • Ensure data integrity and quality, establishing and following documented processes and controls.
  • Prioritize risk management and control measures to mitigate potential issues or exposures.

Requirements:

  • Adaptability and flexibility in response to changing conditions.
  • Operational knowledge of all asset classes, data processing, reconciliations, and payments.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, and Asset Servicing Systems (WSO/Solvas/Sentry).
  • Strong technical proficiency, attention to detail, and data governance skills.
  • Effective management of deliverables, prioritization, and delegation.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and desire for continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration with internal and external teams and supporting team training and integration.
  • Project management skills, including process reviews, automation, and efficiency projects.
  • Problem-solving oriented with strong decision-making skills aligned with business direction and strategy.
  • Risk assessment and ensuring adherence to processes and controls.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with primary and secondary loans, as an administrator or buy-side operations.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Finance or related discipline.
