Hayfin Capital Management is seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Analyst to join our Liquid Credit team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the liquid strategies and ensuring the smooth operation of our business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations, with experience in managing cash ladders, settlements, and corporate actions. You will be responsible for providing guidance and training to the wider team, as well as participating in transformational work and projects to build out the Hayfin operations platform.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual who is able to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously. If you have a passion for operations and a desire to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Team Leader with strategic planning for the team
  • Provide guidance and training to the wider team
  • Compile daily cash ladders required for the Treasury Team
  • Ensure timely and accurate settlement of all asset classes
  • Manage corporate actions and credit events that affect the investments of the portfolio
  • Oversee the servicing of assets within the fund, including administration, reporting, and compliance
  • Handle payment processing and approvals
  • Perform daily cash and position reconciliations
  • Respond to internal or external stakeholders' queries/requests
  • Manage relationships with 3rd parties and oversee their performance based on SLAs
  • Ensure the integrity and quality of data processed by our team
  • Prioritize risk management and control measures to mitigate potential issues or exposures
Requirements
  • Adaptability and flexibility in response to changing conditions
  • Operational knowledge of all asset classes, including data processing, reconciliations, and payments
  • Proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, and Asset Servicing Systems
  • Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail
  • Effective management of all deliverables and deadlines
  • Prioritize and delegate effectively, and function independently in a complex environment
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and desire for continuous improvement
  • Collaboration with internal and external teams, and supporting team training and integration
  • Project focus, including process reviews, automation, and efficiency projects
  • Problem-solving oriented and strong decision-making skills aligned with business direction and strategy
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with primary and secondary loans, as an administrator or buy side operations
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Finance or related discipline
