Role Overview
We are seeking a talented individual to join our organization, tasked with providing tailored business assistance to clients of our Growth Hub.
The Growth Hub serves two primary groups: businesses that pay for membership and utilize our facilities, and local enterprises eligible for complimentary support through our network.
Our services are designed to be engaging and impactful, aimed at helping businesses refine their strategic objectives. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a collaborative environment that nurtures local entrepreneurship.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute events from inception to conclusion, ensuring a diverse and inclusive array of topics and speakers.
- Build and manage a network of speakers to provide motivational talks and workshops, leveraging our existing connections.
- Develop and implement a promotional outreach strategy to enhance visibility of the Growth Hub's offerings throughout the region.
- Ensure that business support services are accessible across the area, particularly in regions where such services are currently scarce.
- Facilitate outreach initiatives and events that cater to a variety of businesses, including startups, professional services, and agricultural enterprises.
- Meet and strive to surpass monthly business support objectives established by the Lead Business Navigator, aligning with funding criteria.
- Engage with local business owners to identify their needs and challenges through conversations, calls, and meetings.
- Support businesses throughout their funded journey, providing follow-up reports and ongoing assistance as needed.
- Establish trust with local entrepreneurs and collaborate with them to enhance their skills and knowledge for sustainable growth.
- Expand your network of local business owners by participating in relevant events to promote our services.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in business support or a relevant qualification.
- Proven track record in delivering business support services.
- Experience working with startups.
- A strong desire to assist businesses in overcoming challenges and achieving growth.
- Ability to learn new CRM and IT systems effectively.
- Proficient in CRM, office, and customer service skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate relationships.
- Full UK driver's license or equivalent mobility.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
