Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Manager to lead our Catering Team at Lepton Heights, a brand new care home opening soon. As a Catering Manager, you will be responsible for providing healthy and inviting meals for the people we support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food hygiene and safety.
  • Lead and manage a team of Catering Team members, providing induction, training, and support as required.
  • Develop and implement creative menu plans, taking into account dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Manage the catering budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Work collaboratively with the Care Team to ensure seamless delivery of meals and snacks.

Requirements

  • Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification or working towards.
  • Previous experience in a similar position, ideally in a care or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
