Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Catering Manager to join our team and manage the food service in one of our large secondary schools. As a Catering Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals to our students, while maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the food service operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food safety standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with school administrators and staff to ensure seamless integration of our services.
  • Monitor and control food costs, while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in catering management, preferably in an education sector setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, as well as food safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
