We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Well-Being and Activities Coordinator to join our team at Glenholme Healthcare Ltd. As a key member of our care home team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by creating and delivering engaging programs and activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a stimulating program of activities and social events that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
- Work closely with residents to identify their social and recreational requirements, and tailor activities to meet their unique needs and preferences.
- Plan and execute events both within and outside the care home, including exercise sessions, theatre productions, and pet therapy.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of all activities, gather feedback, and assess their effectiveness.
- Assist in transporting residents to appointments using company vehicles or public transport.
- A passion for working with older adults and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience in the care sector or caring for another individual is beneficial, but not essential.
- A valid driver's license and proficiency in computer skills.
