YOUR PROFILE

This is a fixed-term contract role.

As the Lead Partnerships Strategist, you will oversee and direct Suntory's prestigious array of sponsorship affiliations with rights holders and athletes. Key responsibilities will include the formulation of activation strategies, execution, and negotiation of contracts. Collaborating with the broader Suntory brand team, it will be essential to enhance marketing initiatives by integrating sponsorship assets into various channels, including social media and retail marketing. You should possess a strong passion for delivering exceptional quality work and a willingness to embrace new challenges, question existing norms, and express your creativity and enthusiasm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage annual activation planning and implementation across sports such as football, running, and athlete partnerships.
  • Develop strategies for athlete contract renewals.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for key athlete and rights holder partnerships.
  • Oversee the measurement and evaluation of sponsorship effectiveness.
  • Act as the lead contact for sports agencies.
  • Ensure the integration of sponsorship assets into social media platforms.
  • Assist in the development of the Assistant Partnerships Manager role.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive and relevant experience in sports sponsorship activation.
  • Familiarity with fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and fundamental brand marketing principles.
  • Proven experience in negotiation processes.
  • A successful track record in managing relationships with rights holders.
  • Consistent history of achieving outstanding results.
  • A demonstrated growth mindset.
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders effectively (both internal and external).
