Job Title: Contracts Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Specialist to join our team at TechnipFMC. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for providing commercial and contractual expertise to support our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide commercial and contractual advice to department managers and project management teams
- Develop and maintain effective compliance to BMS in accordance with Company procedures and systems
- Arrange project bonds, guarantees, and insurances as required
- Liaise with project managers and project engineers to negotiate and execute Variation Orders with contractors
- Highlight major commercial or contractual risks or issues to relevant managers and work towards optimum solutions
- Assist in project close-out activities, ensuring signature of acceptance, performance feedbacks, and satisfactory monitoring of bonds/warranty
- Review and update the Procurement Register on a weekly basis
- Coordinate and deliver department initiatives as required
- Responsible for tendering, negotiation, and administration of allocated Frame Agreements
- Analyse commodity spend information, including market analysis, and develop sourcing strategies
- Prepare and expedite signature of internal approval documents
- Ensure adherence of contractors to contract/project administration procedures
- Attend weekly/monthly meetings as required
- Claims management
- Assist project managers in contractual matters during project duration
- Assist contract holders with supplier management activities, including performance reviews
- Attend vessel dry dockings as required to manage key supplier variations
Requirements:
- Maintain responsibility and accountability through personal commitment and behavior
- Maintain behavior in compliance with HSES requirements
- Report any unsafe or environmentally unsound acts and conditions to immediate supervisors
Future Development:
- Reinforce and strengthen the HSES culture in operations and projects
- Promote correct HSES behaviors through personal example
- Take action upon any health, safety, security, and environmental matters brought to notice and report to managers
