Job Title: School Business Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic School Business Manager to join our vibrant school community in Burnley. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the school and ensuring the smooth running of administrative, financial, and strategic tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Attendance Management: Ensure accurate and timely recording of daily and half-termly attendance, providing detailed data analysis to inform school decisions.
  2. Admissions Register: Maintain an up-to-date admissions register, providing insights and data on student enrollment to support school growth and development.
  3. SEN Coordination: Support the SEN lead by staying up to date with the SEN register and providing relevant data analysis to inform SEN support.
  4. School Summary Document: Produce the school summary document, including numbers and analysis, to provide a comprehensive overview of school performance.
  5. Data Management: Complete necessary ISC, ISI, and DfE data when required, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
  6. Purchasing: Manage school purchase orders and ensure smooth financial operations, maintaining accurate records and adhering to school policies.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a school administrative or business management role.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Familiarity with financial and budget management in an educational setting, with a strong understanding of school policies and procedures.
