About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Finance Officer to join our team at Cumming Group UK & Europe. As a key member of our finance department, you will provide essential support to our Finance Manager in daily and monthly tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Account Support: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations, and provide accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders.
  • Payroll Administration: Use the Sage software package to prepare monthly salaries, handle payroll queries, and maintain ongoing updates.
  • Financial Data Management: Maintain financial databases, update financial spreadsheets, and operate financial reminder and bring forward systems.
  • Confidential Financial Matters: Handle sensitive financial information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Relevant Qualifications: Relevant finance qualifications, such as AAT membership, are desirable but not essential.
  • Experience: Experience in finance management, preferably in professional services environments, is essential. Proficiency in using project-driven ERP packages is also required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage conflicting demands and prioritize tasks effectively.
