**The Company**
A fantastic opportunity to join a local business with over 45 years in the security industry. Due to the growth of the business, we are looking to welcome a keen individual into our team to support the business owners to ensure that each day runs smoothly. The personal assistant duties will include administrative tasks such as planning and scheduling events, handling correspondence and tasks to help the business owners priorities and manage their time effectively. They will need to be motivated, organised, with a proactive ‘can do’ work style.
**Job Role**
- Manage business owners diaries setting reminders for meetings, appointments and other important events.
- To assist in all event planning for the business.
- Organise training events and maintain personal accreditation records to ensure they are up to date.
- To maintain and order the employee work branded clothing.
- To order the office supplies as required.
- Manage employee’s holiday allocations, ensuring cover is arranged for each holiday period.
- To assist the office in general administration duties at busy times, answering the incoming calls, contacting customers for scheduling.
- To assist in collating information in readiness for the payroll, holidays taken, overtime worked and additional payments such as commission earned.
- Control the petty cash to ensure all transactions are entered onto the accounts software and payments made where needed.
- Assist the finance department contacting customers to provide copy invoices and take payments as required.
- Coordinate and control our customer satisfaction results, drawing these into a results format for monthly reporting and updating testimonials on relevant advertising platforms.
- To be proactive in all aspects of the office procedures and listen to needs of others to ensure that we are all working together enabling the business to run in an efficient manner.
Skills, knowledge, and qualities required.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent organisation and people management skills
- Ability to prioritise and multitask efficiently
- Strong communication skills
- Good knowledge of standard word processing, spreadsheets and other productivity software tools.

- Discretion and tact
- Previous experience in handling and responding to correspondence, including sensitive information
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm - 7 hour shift
Location: Penarth office
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £21,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
