About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team at United Living Group. As an Electrical Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for the on-site installation, testing, and sign-off of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out electrical installation and testing work on existing water company sites in accordance with project requirements and programme.
  • Perform FAT/SAT panel testing and commissioning.
  • Conduct panel and MCC works, ensuring compliance with BS7671 requirements and company standards.
  • Work on client sites across the region, traveling to sites and staying overnight as required.
  • Work in confined spaces and at heights in industrial environments.
  • Specify job requirements, parts, equipment, and materials needed, and compile survey reports for quotation purposes.
  • Read, understand, and follow risk assessments and method statements.
  • Inspect, survey, identify faults, carry out works, and test electrical systems.
  • Complete required paperwork for each project and compile reports to demonstrate installation and testing work has been carried out successfully, accurately, and timely.
  • Utilize design drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company and client-specific standards, as well as OH&S, environmental, and quality policies.
  • Work as part of a team, cooperate with other staff/trades, and take responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and others under your control.
  • Ensure the quality of your work on site is completed right first time and to company standards.
Requirements
  • Capable of working at heights and in confined spaces in industrial environments.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow risk assessments and method statements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
