Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Installation Specialist to join our multi-disciplinary team. As an Electrical Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for the on-site installation, testing, and sign-off of our projects. You will work as part of a mechanical and electrical team, assisting mechanical trades when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical installation and testing work on existing water company sites in accordance with project requirements and programme.
  • Work on client sites across the region, requiring travel and overnight stays during the week.
  • Comply with necessary hygiene standards when working on sites that convey sewage and drinking water.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, specifying job requirements and compiling survey reports for quotation purposes.
  • Read, understand, and follow risk assessments and method statements.
  • Inspect, survey, identify faults, carry out works, and test electrical systems.
  • Complete required paperwork for each project and compile reports to demonstrate installation and testing work has been carried out successfully, accurately, and timely.

Requirements

  • Compliance with BS7671 requirements and company and client-specific standards.
  • Accountability for health and safety of yourself and others under your control.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and cooperate with other staff and trades.
  • Ensure the quality of your work on site is completed right first time and to company standards.
  • Compliance with the Company's policies, procedures, and work instructions.
