Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Chichester. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in driving sales, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store, including managing staff, maintaining visual merchandising, and achieving sales targets.
- Take full responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring continuity of service and sales.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Monitor and control stock levels, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement store plans, including visual merchandising, marketing, and promotions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail environment.
- Supervisory experience, with a track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve sales targets.
- Commercially driven, with a focus on driving sales, improving customer satisfaction, and enhancing the overall shopping experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays, and to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
