Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Orion Electrotech. As a key member of our construction team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, utilizing your expertise to ensure the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare Accurate Cost Estimates: Develop and maintain accurate cost estimates for construction projects, taking into account all relevant factors, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Analyze and Negotiate Subcontractor Bids: Analyze and negotiate subcontractor bids and contracts to ensure that they align with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Monitor Project Costs: Monitor project costs and budgets to ensure that they are aligned with our company's financial goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers: Collaborate with project managers to optimize cost efficiency and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Conduct Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and identify potential cost variations.
  • Provide Cost Forecasts: Provide timely reports on cost forecasts and financial performance to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and numerical skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and proficiency in construction cost estimation software.
