About the Role

We are seeking a Paediatric Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Spire Healthcare Ltd. As a Paediatric Healthcare Assistant, you will provide high-quality care to children and young people, working alongside our nursing team to support children undergoing or preparing to undergo surgery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pre and post-operative care to children and young people, assisting in their recovery and getting them ready for discharge.
  • Assist in the delivery of care to meet the individuals health and wellbeing needs.
  • Work alongside the nursing team to support children undergoing or preparing to undergo surgery.
  • Ensure that children feel safe and at ease in the environment through playful interaction and support.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with children in some capacity, ideally as a HCA.
  • Current phlebotomy skills would be an advantage.
  • Friendly and approachable manner.
