Area Manager for Reliability Maintenance Engineering

We are seeking dedicated and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager.

The Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager will oversee a team of engineering technicians, prioritizing safety through effective training, development, and coaching.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, supporting, and mentoring the team to ensure safe, standardized, and efficient operations.
  • Collaborating with the team and broader network to leverage technical expertise and develop solutions.
  • Assisting the Reliability Engineering Manager in working with the Site Safety department and Site Leadership to implement, document, and audit safety and compliance programs, ensuring a safe work environment for all personnel.
  • Executing network standards and emphasizing preventative maintenance to achieve high equipment availability for internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinating technical coverage for shifts by managing the training program for the team.
  • Organizing local projects or supporting EU-level initiatives as directed by management.
  • Being available to work shifts to maintain strong connections with the team and daily operations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive practical engineering experience, including supervisory roles.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
  • Experience with automated systems, including packaging machinery, sortation, and conveyor systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and the local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher.
  • Experience adhering to relevant health and safety standards and regulations.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and CAD.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Comprehensive knowledge of specialized engineering and facilities equipment within Fulfillment Centers and Delivery Stations, along with maintenance and safety protocols.
  • Experience with PLC-based control systems.
  • Project Management expertise.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) programs.
  • Experience with Kaizen and Continuous Improvement Processes.
