Engineering Reliability Maintenance Area Supervisor

We are seeking dedicated and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager.

The Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager serves as the primary supervisor for a group of engineering technicians, emphasizing safety through effective training, development, and coaching.

This role is crucial in achieving optimal equipment availability by ensuring that all preventive maintenance tasks are executed and that internal protocols are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, support, and mentorship to the team, ensuring adherence to safe, standardized, and efficient work practices.
  • Collaborate with the team and the broader network to leverage available technical expertise and devise effective solutions.
  • Assist the Reliability Engineering Manager in partnership with the Site Safety department and Site Leadership to establish, document, and audit safety and compliance programs, ensuring a secure working environment for all personnel.
  • Enforce network standards and prioritize preventive maintenance to guarantee high equipment availability for our internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure adequate technical coverage for the shifts under your supervision by organizing and overseeing the training initiatives for the team.
  • Manage local projects or provide support for EU-level projects as designated by management.
  • Be willing to work shifts to maintain a strong connection with the team and daily operations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Extensive hands-on engineering experience, including a supervisory role overseeing personnel.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
  • Familiarity with automated systems, including packaging machinery, sortation, and conveyor systems.
  • Competence in communicating (both written and verbal) in English and the local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher.
  • Experience adhering to relevant health and safety standards and regulations.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, CAD).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of specialized engineering and facilities equipment within Fulfillment Centers and Delivery Stations, along with maintenance and safety protocols.
  • Experience with PLC-based control systems.
  • Background in Project Management.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) programs.
  • Experience with Kaizen and Continuous Improvement Processes.
