Job Description

Gap Construction is seeking a skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our facility in Edmonton. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns and ensure maximum uptime.
  • Respond effectively to equipment breakdowns and conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with operational staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on conveyors, process, and packaging equipment.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our maintenance processes and department.
Requirements:
  • Timeserved engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  • Background in FMCG/Food Manufacturing is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive hourly rate of £35.00.
  • A 4-on-4-off shift pattern with days and nights.
