Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Female Support Companion. This role involves providing support and companionship to a young adult with an acquired brain injury, enabling her to live independently and pursue her goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide emotional support and companionship to the client, promoting her independence and well-being.
  • Assist the client with daily tasks and activities, such as going to the gym, attending pub quizzes, and engaging in musical activities.
  • Travel with the client between her home and university, ensuring her safe transportation and companionship.
  • Develop a positive relationship with the client and her family, maintaining open communication and addressing any concerns or needs.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure the client receives comprehensive support and care.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A driver's license is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Good professional and personal references.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
