As Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Sports Therapy you will be joining a dynamic and developing department, with a focus on progressive and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.

You will be working in high quality facilities and within a working environment that provides the opportunity to contribute to new progressive portfolio of courses, including postgraduate awards.

You will have the benefit of a research led department and curriculum, with multi-disciplinary collaboration a key element of applied work.

You will have a commitment to providing a high level of academic supporting and capacity to work as part of a multi- disciplinary team and the ability to engage a diverse range of groups to include end users and professionals stake holders.

About you

You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience. You will be a sports therapist, or equivalent allied health profession with a musculoskeletal specialism, with experience of clinical teaching on a relevant academic program. Alternatively, a sports scientist / kinesiologist with application in sports injury prevention / rehabilitation. You will have an understanding of the role of a sports therapist and the clinical competencies defined by the Society of Sports Therapists.

To be successful you will further enrich our student's experience through your expertise and subject knowledge as evidenced through your qualifications and extensive experience of professional practice. In return, you will join a forward thinking and dynamic team that pushes the boundaries of curriculum development.
