Wellbeing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Wellbeing Assistant to join our team at Healthcare Ireland Group. As a Wellbeing Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing engaging activities and wellbeing initiatives that promote physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Wellbeing Lead to develop and implement a wide range of activities that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents. This will include planning, organizing, and facilitating recreational and therapeutic activities, as well as engaging with residents in one-on-one or group settings.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the Wellbeing Lead in preparing, planning, and delivering group and individual recreational and occupational activities, observing, recording, and reporting resident response.
- Engage with residents in one-on-one or group activities, such as games, crafts, music, exercise, outings, and social events based on their interests and preferences.
- Assist with the setting up and organizing of activity areas, including gathering supplies, arranging furniture, and displaying materials.
- Ensure the effective, timely, and accurate updating of records, case files, and computerized information systems.
- Stay informed about best practices and trends in wellbeing and activities for residents.
- Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager or Lead.
Requirements:
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with a good standard of written and verbal English.
- Well-developed communication, observational, and active listening skills.
- Experience in a related field.
- The Right to Work in the UK.
