Wellbeing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Wellbeing Assistant at Bradley Court, a 12-bedded nursing home for Learning Disability and challenging behaviour.
As a Wellbeing Assistant, you will work closely with the Wellbeing Lead to provide a schedule of engaging pursuits that create a supportive environment where residents can thrive.
Your main responsibilities will include assisting with the planning, organisation and facilitation of recreational and therapeutic activities for residents, engaging with residents in one-on-one or group activities, and ensuring the effective, timely and accurate updating of records and case files.
You will also have the opportunity to stay informed about best practices and trends in wellbeing and activities for residents, and to contribute to the development and implementation of a wide range of activities that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Wellbeing Lead in preparing, planning and delivering group and individual recreational and occupational activities.
- Engage with residents in one-on-one or group activities, such as games, crafts, music, exercise, outings and social events.
- Assist with the setting up and organising of activity areas, including gathering supplies, arranging furniture and displaying materials.
- Ensure the effective, timely and accurate updating of records, case files and computerised information systems.
- Stay informed about best practices and trends in wellbeing and activities for residents.
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with a good standard of written and verbal English.
- Well-developed communication, observational and active listening skills.
- Experience in a related field.
- The Right to Work in the UK.
