Job Title: Senior IT Specialist

Stealth iT Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Specialist to join our team in Cumbria, UK. As a key member of our shift team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, with a focus on storage and database engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Incident management to resolution
  • Carrying out regular maintenance tasks to ensure system availability and performance
  • Upgrade hardware, firmware, and software under Change control
  • Racking and cabling hardware
  • Patching network connections
Working Conditions:

Shift work, following a 2 x 12.5-hour day shifts, 2 x 12.5-night shifts, and 6 rest days pattern. Located at customer site.

As a member of our shift team, you will work closely with other specialists, including a Network specialist, an Infrastructure specialist, and a Storage, Database, and Security Tooling specialist.

Requirements:
  • Active SC Clearance and eligibility for DV Clearance
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Storage Engineer, with excellent knowledge of Dell EMC products
  • Hands-on experience of other areas of IT, such as servers, networks, security tools, and audio visual equipment
  • ITIL 4 qualified, with experience of implementing system modifications via Change control
  • Ability and motivation to learn new IT skills
