Job Summary
We are looking for a Consultant General Anaesthetist to be part of a dynamic team in our hospital. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across a variety of surgical specialties and contribute to the development of the anaesthesia department.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide anaesthetic services to a range of surgical specialties, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety.

Education and Qualifications
Essential
- FRCA or equivalent qualification, demonstrating a strong foundation in anaesthesia.
- Full GMC registration, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Completion of UK Anaesthetic training or eligibility for Specialist Register, showcasing expertise in anaesthesia.
Experience and Knowledge
Essential
- Clinical experience in Anaesthesia, with a focus on perioperative care.
- Ability to provide cover for emergency and obstetric anaesthesia, demonstrating adaptability and expertise.
- Interest in peri-operative anaesthesia, staying up-to-date with the latest developments.
Desirable
